Quiet suburban living with fast CBD access
Murray Town is a compact suburb just north-west of the CBD - 15 minutes to Cotton Tree, sheltered from the peninsula traffic, and with a mix of mid-century homes and newer infill. A good middle-ground for families or renters who want space without the Hill Station price tag.

EDSA reliability
Good
Murray Town’s older stock is mostly detached bungalows and small apartment buildings from the 1970s-80s, often with large gardens. Newer build adds 2-3 storey apartment blocks and the occasional modern detached home. The neighbourhood is predominantly residential, which keeps it quieter than Wilkinson or Aberdeen.
Transport is straightforward - one of the main poda-poda routes runs along Murray Town Road, and tricycles serve the inner streets until about 9pm. Most residents keep a private vehicle for school runs but daily commuting is doable on public transport.
Utilities sit slightly above the Freetown average. Water supply is usually municipal with a private tank; generators are common but many properties run without one because EDSA service is reasonably reliable in this area.
